HAT Smart Existing Homes Incentive

To qualify for a rebate under the Existing Homes program, an initial EnerGuide Home Evaluation (pre-renovation evaluation) is required prior to completing any of the eligible upgrades and a copy of your evaluation report must be submitted within 60 days from confirmation approval of reserve funds to remain in the queue.

Your application will be declined if upgrades were completed prior to a pre-renovation evaluation, the application is incomplete or the requested amount and/or eligible retrofit is unclear. 

NOTE: Applications should be submitted by homeowners only, not contractors. There are five eligible types of retrofits in this incentive, so you may have multiple contractors working on different elements of the same application.
