Development Permit extension request

If you have already received a Development Permit from the City, but are not able to commence the project within 12 months, you may apply for an extension of your permit.

You cannot extend a Development Permit that has already expired.
You cannot extend a Development Permit more than one year beyond the expiration date.

NOTE: If you wish to extend a construction-related permit (building, plumbing, electrical, etc.), apply here instead.
